I began my business when I was in college and have since grown it into a full-time photography career. My younger self would be jumping up and down if she heard this. But there is a lot more to me than capturing beautiful images for amazing people… so let’s get to it!
Graduated high school in the spring and started college at Ridgewater in Minnesota pursuing my photography dreams in the fall
Covid year… you know. I continued going to classes virtually throughout covid hoping and praying every day that we could go back in person soon
Graduated college with my degree in “Professional Photography Technology”... Say that five times fast! Oh, and moved to North Carolina in June.
Worked on my business part-time while working another job while also traveling back to Minnesota for sessions.
Started to build up my photography clientele in North Carolina. I met some great people and got to explore the area more.
Took my photography business full-time!!!
I was raised on a farm in rural Minnesota. Yes, it really is THAT cold but we will always say “It’s just because of the wind”. Growing up some of my favorite things to do were going to half apps with friends, having a bonfire, watching a movie on the barn, and tubing on the lake. Honestly, those are still some of my favorite things to do when I visit.
Fast forward to now, I live on the coast of North Carolina which still feels like a crazy sentence I get to say. (I always thought I would move to the mountains if I ever did move but here we are) Since moving here in 2021 I have gotten to explore my new home, meet so many amazing people, and have countless beach days. And I love getting to share it all with family and friends when they come to visit us.
My love for photography has only grown since moving to such a beautiful place. Everywhere I go I am always thinking “THAT WOULD BE A GREAT SPOT TO TAKE PHOTOS” I feel so blessed that I get to do what I love every day and I am so grateful for all the people who have supported me along this journey. Okay so that’s a glimps into my past and how I got started now let’s get to the fun stuff!
