Clevenger Family Photos at Fort Macon State Park

Another stunning Fort Macon session for the blog today! I love this location so much. There are so many different stunning backdrops in walking distance and free parking. You can't beat that! This sweet little family reached out to me wanting to do a beach session with grandma and grandpa and it worked out perfectly. When I wanted to take picture of just mom and dad we had grandpa and grandma there to play with the kiddos. That is why I always recommend to bring someone with to your session when you have young kids.

This session didn't go as planned though… As soon as we got to Fort Macon it started raining out of nowhere!  Gotta love North Carolina weather. So we ran back to our cars to wait it out. Once it stopped raining we headed towards the beach. We started this session along the path leading out to the beach. I loved how vibrant the grass is with their light color palette. We got all of the family combos there and then made our to the rocks on the beach.I loved getting so see this family interact together and it’s the exact reason I keep my camera on the whole time. I got to capture the in between moments that I love so much during the session. Such as the kids playing with grandpa and grandma. So if your kids are running around during the session it’s okay! It’s all about capturing your family in the stage you are in.
